GOLFER Alastair Forsyth has been selected to oversee the installation of a PGA-approved putting facility at the £330 million Maxim Business Park in Lanarkshire.
Karen Campbell, Maxim’s chief executive, said:
“The deal with Alastair is another example of the fact we want to bring something special to the table in terms of everything we do on site. Support facilities are vital in our efforts to attract major businesses."
Fresh from his ninth place finish in the last of the year’s golf majors – the USPGA at Oakland Hills – Alastair said:
“I was taken aback by the sheer scale of the development and hugely impressed by Karen Campbell’s vision.”
The 7,317 sq ft putting surface will operate alongside retail, childcare, leisure and arts and events facilities on the Maxim site.
